What is CBN?

Saturday, Nov 7, 2020 | Education

CBN, known, as Cannabinol, is a byproduct of the degradation of THC as the plant ages. Over time, or when exposed to oxygen or heat, THC converts into CBN.

Recent research has shown that CBN may help reduce nausea, boost appetite, and particularly, might work as a sleep aid. CBN is mildly psychoactive and is derived from THCA, just like THC.

While our cannabinoid profiles contain a full-spectrum of cannabinoids including flavonoids, terpenes, CBG and CBC, you’ll notice that our reports lack significant concentrations of CBN. The reason for this is simple. We only use fresh starting material that does not have the opportunity to be exposed to an overabundance of oxygen, heat, and aging.
At Dialed In, we believe you shouldn’t settle for gummies that use aged material with your infused edibles, but are aware of this emerging cannabinoid.
